2 Architects and a bunch of time
Steve Buetow and Scott Helmes are award winning architects who were laid off from their architectural jobs. In a creative attempt to utilize their multitude of talents, they created flower vases from test tubes and scrap aluminum and modern tableware from recycled Corian®. Since their initial design, they are continuing to develop unique functional objects and ideas using recycled and industrial materials. Under the rubric of S2BH, who knows what mischief and concepts will emerge?
Steve Buetow is a residential architect and fabricator, with a long history of making things (including a race car in his dining room). Steve lives in Saint Paul.
Scott Helmes is an architect, artist, photographer, poet and designer.
His studio is in the Thorp building in Minneapolis.
